Paris Attack

Level: Form 3

Time: 20 to 25 minutes

Topic: Recent issues

Aim: To obtain information on the internet on the recent bomb and gun attack in Paris.

Technical Requirement:

Computer Lab, or mobile devices with internet connection.

Procedure: 

1. Ask the students if they know about any recent events happening that they have seen on television or read on newspapers.

2. Ask the students if they have any information on the recent gun and bomb attack on Paris.

3. Teacher shows the students a video report on the Paris Attack.

4. Teacher instructs the students to get in pairs.

5. Teacher distributes the worksheet to the students and let them read the instruction on the worksheet.

6. The students are required answer the worksheet, and they are allowed to watch the video again to gather the information required to complete the worksheet. 

Conclusion:

Teacher sums up the lesson and tell the students that there are many events happening around the world and that it is important for them to know these events.

Follow up:

The students are required to write a paragraph on their feelings and thoughts on the gun and bomb attack on Paris.
